Some of the water is dirty, and not great for swimming, but the tour around the neighbour islands is well worth the trip.
Phi Phi is gorgeous but the central part is very crowded with mostly unthinking package tourists.
But hey go see for yourself.
Definitely do a snorkel trip around the islands if weather’s good..
